French avant-pop artist molto morbidi has dropped her new single, ‘Casual Shapeshifting’. She says: “Although it’s essentially pop music, I always try to integrate something a little offbeat, something weird.” This track doesn’t drift far from that mantra, with memorable hooks and relatable lyrics about the paradox of being a ‘people pleaser’ colliding with an interesting accompaniment that feels like a blend of synth-pop and bossa nova.
